Pierre Abad is a Senior Scientist (DR2) at INARE, former head of Plant Pathology at INRA/CNRS/UNSA, and former Director of Institut Sophia Agrobiotech (ISA). He is also a review expert for many international funding organizations, such as NSF, BBSRC and BARD. He has spent most of his scientific career focusing particularly on plant-nematode interactions. He has published more than 130 articles in high-level journals including Nature Biotechnology, PNAS, The EMBO Journal, The Plant Cell, H-index 47. In 2012, he received an important award in France “Prize of the French Academy of Sciences "Grand Prix thématique" in Plant Physiology section”.
Bruno Favery is a Senior Scientist (DR2) at INARE, Principle Investigator of the Plant Nematode Interaction (IPN) research group in ISA, a visiting professor of Kumamoto University, Japan. From 2023, he is the deputy head of INRAE Plant Health and Environment division. He has long been engaged in research on the pathogenic mechanism of plant-parasitic nematodes. Related research results are published in more than 70 journals, books and patents, including Nature Biotechnology, Current Opinion in Biotechnology, The Plant Cell, The EMBO Journal.
Michaël Quentin is a professor at the Université Côte d'Azur and a researcher in IPN-ISA team. He is a member of the scientific committee of the INRAE Department of Plant Health and Environment, and a reviewer of several international funding bodies. He has been engaged in research on pathogenic mechanism of plant-parasitic nematodes for a long time, and related research achievements are published in The Plant Cell, New Phytologist, PLoS Pathogens.
